Midad Energy is a renowned energy investor-operator with a rich history of pioneering ventures. One of our significant milestones dates back to 20 September 1994, when we joined forces with ten other International Oil Companies to sign the groundbreaking “Contract of the Century.” This historic agreement paved the way for the development of three major oil fields—Azeri, Guneshli, and Chirag—in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea. At the time, the estimated combined recoverable reserves of these fields amounted to 4.6 billion barrels of oil.
